A Graduate engineer from Netaji Institute of Technology/NSIT Delhi(Formerly DIT) and post graduate from India’s premier business school, Indian Institute of Management having over 15 years of hands on experience in diverse roles across many high technology verticals. As Country Manager of Applications Engineering and Business Development at FLIR Systems. FLIR Systems is a US multinational company and a renown leader in Long Range Imaging(Thermal-LWIR/MWIR/SWIR and Day), Tactical Night Vision Sights (I2/Thermal), Radar Systems (K/X Band), CBRNE Detection Systems, Command Control Software, Integrated Solutions, Traffic/Smart City Solutions, OEM Components, and Thermography /Automation solutions. During my tenure at FLIR Systems, we established a local presence and ensured better business partner (SI, OEM) and customer support offering stabilized/non stablilized EO Systems (Day, Thermal- LWIR Uncooled and Cooled/MWIR Cooled/SWIR), Radar Systems, Integrated Systems and C3I solutions for diverse domains and platforms such as Airborne, Land Systems, Maritime, Vehicle Systems, Tactical soldier systems for Surveillance, Search and Rescue and Homeland/Perimeter Security applications. My direct Product Evangelism with CAPFs (CRPF, BSF, ITBP), DRDO Labs, Armed Forces (Northern Command) and other customers led to successful product placement in RFIs and RFPs and subsequent procurement. We have had reasonable success and wins considering the ITAR, End Use Certificates, NCNC Trials, Price and other customer, competitive and internal limitations within which we were operating. My results have been achieved with minimum resources and little supervision. I have worked extensively in individual, small team leader and team member capacities with US and Indian multinational organizations in diverse geographies such as US, UK and India while performing customer facing roles mostly in hi-technology domains (Defense Systems, Aviation and Telecom).
