Work with kids on basics for preschool readiness. Plan and implement a variety of daily learning activities to prepare the young students for preschool. Also take care of basic needs, meals, and comforting when needed.

Provide care, guidance and emotional support to at-risk children ages’ birth to eighteen that have been deemed custody of the state. The maximum number of residents receiving care at any one time was twenty-three. Duties include creating daily schedules and organizing day-to-day activities for the residents. Also perform parental duties such as: preparing meals, assisting with homework, providing decision input, discipline, assisting with hygiene, and transporting to various appointments.

This was a campus-sponsored organization to provide various activities for the student population. Responsibilities included planning, leading and organizing trips for students including: caving, backpacking and rock climbing trips. Other duties of the Trip Leader were to conduct pre-trip meetings as well as preparing all required equipment.
