I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and a co-founder at The Reading Company. I completed my undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Western Kentucky University. I’m licensed in the state of Kentucky and hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. I have worked as a speech-language pathologist in the school system, Kentucky's birth-to-three early intervention program, and private practice.I am proud to be a graduate of Goldman Sachs' 10,000 Small Businesses program (May 2023) and was recognized in Bowling Green VIP Magazine's 40 Under 40 issue (September 2024).I have received training in Orton-Gillingham, and significant training in the diagnosis and treatment of speech sound disorders, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech. I firmly believe in the importance of being a lifelong learner and am an ASHA ACE Award recipient.My special interests include the diagnosis and treatment of speech sound production and motor speech disorders, early language development, language disorders, and language processing differences.
