I performed safety audits to ensure that all onsite employees and contractors were working safely at the plant. I facilitated pre-start-up safety reviews and management of change meetings and delivered safety moments in weekly meetings.My projects included, developing the scope for a cooling tower rebuild in the final five weeks of my internship and developed a transition document to give to the engineer would over-see the project. I also updated and created a Six Sigma Black Belt statistical closing tool using Excel and Minitab.

I worked with customers to help them create the menus for their event. I would input the information in our reservations system and then the week before the event I would call to re-confirmed all of the information. I also input data for meal cards on campus, as well as answered phones and general office duties. I also had the chance to set events and lead a part of an event setup.

I was an intern, which meant I learned a wide variety of skills. I did data entry into a reservations system. I worked with customers to help them find the right rooms for their events. I assisted in the transition from the old reservations system to the new one.

I would answer phones and take messages when needed. I helped transition invoices from the old input system to the new one. I did filing, data entry and other office duties. I greeted bidders when they would come in for bid openings.

I was a personal connection between the school and Alumni. I helped the school earn shcolarship money. I also made a presentation for the president of the school as a part of my work there. And lastly I began the electronic 3D model of the school's campus.
