I currently oversee our metal department on 2nd shift. I work closely with my team lead and employees to complete goals that are set up. I help resolve any issues, concerns or complaints they may have. I approve their times for payroll, approve vacation, and make sure they have the tools they need to be successful. I resolve conflicts when they arise and try give them support in the capacity they need to the best of my ability. I complete their reviews yearly and go over the review with them. I work closely with other managers to give them the support they need to complete their jobs in a timely manner.

My main focus was to resolve conflicts, retain employees, set up rewards for employees, work with supervisors and management on any issues they may have and create a better working environment for everyone. This job is by far the most rewarding I have ever had. Since we are a small company, my responsibility also includes payroll and ensuring times for employees are correct and making sure raises are given in a timely fashion. I also update employees on changes with the health insurance and address any questions or issues they may have regarding insurance.

I am in charge of customer service. It is my priority to ensure the satisfaction of our customers to have excellent service when placing an order for replacement parts from the start. I work closely with my employees to make sure that product is shipped out in a timely manner, answer questions they may have and back them up if they need help. I also manage times for my employees, have discussions when needed on a variety of issues and resolve the issues in a timely fashion.

I helped the organization by making sure that customers received their products quickly and to their satisfaction by making sure each individual had what they needed to get the job done.

I made sure that customers were happy with their service, food and surroundings. I delivered their food with a smile and made sure that they enjoyed their stay to ensure repeat trips to the restaurant.
