Hi! My name is April Wilhelm and first off, I love Western Washington! I grew up on Whidbey Island and currently live in Bellingham and have worked in both La Conner and Seattle. I love being apart of the Whatcom community and I aspire to find a job where I am able to get involved, do good, and grow as I collaborate with others in making where we live even better. When I am not at work you can find me running, drinking too much coffee, crafting and working with my hands, singing, hangingout with my two Australian Shepherds, and decorating my home!Every job I have had has involved working with local/small businesses and that is where I hope to stay. I fully believe in the power of community and the amazing things we can do when we come together and support one another. I am very task oriented, pay attention to details, and have a scary passion for organization. My current role takes focus and precision as well as much administrative work. I have been with a young company for four years now which involves a lot of patience and on-going changes, requiring me to find quick and clever ways to adapt and be flexible with any drawbacks.I have a calm, but fun demeanor and stay level-headed under pressure, as I find I thrive from the stress of being busy. Especially when it's planning and organizing work! I believe in good communication and find being honest and direct with any feedback is important. I am a quick learner and very reliable in both my schedule and performance. My willingness and commitment is apparent in my work ethic and I enjoy both collaborating with others, and working independently whenneeded.Multitasking is one of my greatest strengths and I am always using my creativity to find better ways to get the job done. Coordinating and planning are things I have always enjoyed and have been an intuitive part of me; whether in my personal life or on the job. Overall I am always looking to grow and have a passion for the work and be proud of what I have helped create.
