April is a certified mindfulness teacher (having completed Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach's Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program at UC Berkeley). In addition to her role as co-founder, April facilitates four online writing sessions a week (usually Mon-Thur, 9:30-10:45am PST).

April was employed as a technical writer and Associate Planner at Civiltec. Researching and drafting extensive water management plans for clients, April focused on delivering concise, clear, and useful documentation on the current and projected status of each individual water system.

Work included development of branded online content, including blog posts, collateral material, social media posts, webinars and more. Was also responsible for crafting newsletters, speeches, press releases, project proposals, white papers, and engaging op-ed pieces. Regularly reported on Google Analytics data as well as industry news that could impact marketing efforts. Developed and maintains websites for clients.
