Working alongside my husband, we are establishing long- and short-term goals to achieve business objectives. We counsel together on how to deliver an exceptional customer experience. My focus is on human resource development, marketing strategies, and public relations with an emphasis on employee culture.

Idaho Falls, Idaho

As the Proctoring Coordinator, I had the unique privilege of supporting the self-improvement of CEI students, non-CEI students and community members. This was accomplished by proctoring academic as well as high stakes exams in a secure and inviting environment. We offered academic placement as well as high stakes exams which include Accuplacer, Aleks, ATI, Certiport, ETS, IBOL, NACE, NOCTI, Pearson VUE, Prometric, and PSI.

Greater Salt Lake City Area

With over 500 Pathway locations and more than 2500 missionaries globally, I oversaw and managed the lifecycle of every Pathway missionary. I accomplished this with a team of Home Office Senior Service Missionaries, part-time employees and an office assistant. Each played a vital role in the onboarding process as well as tracking and follow up on missionary calls, extensions, and releases. I made it my primary focus to help the entire Pathway team understand the link between well trained and prepared missionaries and the student experience. When this culture was fostered it consistently led to student success and a great missionary experience.

Rexburg, Idaho

As the first Pathway Area Manager and part of a small team, we learned a great deal together which, over time, guided the development of Pathway. We learned how vital building relationships across Church leadership and programs was to the sustainability and expansion of Pathway. We also learned the importance of maintaining a close connection to BYU-Idaho. Consistency across sites and quality of the student and missionary experience were a focal point with hundreds of missionaries and thousands of students globally. There was constant collaboration, adjustments, and new directions we took to guide the program direction.

Rexburg, Idaho

In close coordination with university leadership, I was asked to lead the Heber J. Grant Program development and delivery. Its mission was to teach principles of self-reliance, stewardship and replenishment to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This included first generation college students, low income individuals or other long term disadvantages. The best way to do all I was tasked to do was grow a student leadership model which fostered student to student teaching and learning at all levels of the program. This included four areas: Ambassadors, Applications, Mentors, and Peer Facilitators. A fifth area was later added: Pathway.

Rexburg, Idaho

Developed creative ways to market the University Honor Code and Dress and Grooming Standards with a particular focus on teaching principles of integrity as well as choice and accountability. This was accomplished by creating and utilized a student-led model where students taught one another. Worked closely with at-risk students on probation academically and/or with the Honor Code.

Idaho Falls, Idaho

The Supplemental Academic Advising Center's (SAAC) focus was student success. Passionate about student access to and success in higher education, I worked closely with various student populations to share educational options, provide resources for academic success including tutoring, and encouraged retention through ongoing advising. Watched with excitement as students paved and completed their university path and celebrated victories along the way.

Logan, Utah

With a growing commitment to educational attainment for diverse students, this work allowed me to have a meaningful impact at a state school. I led an office which provided opportunities for students to gain academic confidence through tutoring support and monitoring academic progress, leadership involvement, and scholarship attainment and recognition. Students flourished at Utah State University with the cross-departmental collaborative approach we developed. Counseling Services, International Student Services, Admissions, and the Athletic Department were a few of the departments we excelled at partnering with to ensure student success.

Rexburg, Idaho

Served as a resource at university events to identify prospective students from diverse backgrounds and assist them through the maze of applying to college. As a key individual who knew well the at-risk student population, represented these students throughout the admissions and scholarship awarding process. In order for the campus and community to embrace the increased diversity, I was fortunate to develop and lead diversity and equity workshops on and off campus. Additional efforts to help with new students transition included multicultural and international orientation.
