Graduate Student Center

As the only outreach division for graduate-level program at CSUB, I was responsible for recruiting qualified prospective graduate students from the surrounding and outlying community on behalf of 18 graduate programs at CSU Bakersfield.Some of my main tasks involved event planning and coordination; marketing/collateral; community outreach presentations; lead generation and networking; and pre-advising for prospective graduate students.My greatest accomplishment includes the development and coordination of CSUB's 2nd Annual "Graduate Open House" event in February 2014, in which over 100 prospective students and guests gathered for an informative recruiting event. All prospective students were organically sourced through direct marketing efforts. At least 80% of the prospective students in attendance requested more information regarding CSUB's graduate programs.
