With my husband Marcos Mata, we created a gallery space in Downtown Fayetteville. Alter Egos was created to be a beacon of creativity and love for our community. The space is not only for artists, but for those also in need of a creative release. We make art accessible and fun for all ages and skill levels by providing fine art classes, children's programs, and even Pinterest DIY parties. We aren't stopping there, we believe in all forms of art. From music to interpretive dance, all art forms are welcome in our space. We also have detox Sundays where we feature events like yoga, meditation, healthy living courses, and more. This is a true labor of love and we believe in blessing the community with it.Upstairs we have studio space for artists and crafters who need space to create. Studio space in Fayetteville is very limited, so we created something that would be affordable, and right in the midst of the great art that's being created in Fayetteville. We do a month to month lease, allowing the artists the flexibility to come and go as they please. Small businesses also use us as a virtual office which works great for getting them seen on Google Maps. We are just excited to help everyone grow and succeed. Feel free to visit the gallery Friday through Sunday at 108 Gillespie St in Downtown Fayetteville, for art, events, and community.
