I am a seasoned tax and business advisor with over 28 years of experience at EY addressing the increasingly complex business and tax needs of multinational organizations, including navigating federal and international tax issues and financial accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) issues. Throughout my career, I have provided tax services to private and public companies in a variety of industries, including Technology, Entertainment, Manufacturing and Retail. In addition to serving clients, I have served in a number of leadership roles including most recently as the Americas Business Tax leader, leading teams in the US, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America and Israel. My responsibilities included vision, strategy, execution and operation of various tax service offerings including Private Client Services, Exempt Organizations, Controversy, Partnerships and Business Tax Advisory. Prior to this, I was the Central Region Tax Managing Partner, responsible for driving growth and managing a tax practice of 1,800 professionals across our regional tax practice spanning 17 offices and 15 states.Earlier in my career, I served as a subject matter professional in accounting methods and completed a rotation with EY’s National Tax Department in Washington, DC. From 2005-2006, I was a member of EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and provided a variety of tax services, including due diligence and structuring, for both strategic and private equity clients. I have also served as EY’s West Region Global Compliance and Reporting leader.
