Family Experience Coordinator
CurrentProvide supervision, leadership, and management for the the Afterschool, Day Camp, and Drop In Care Youth Programs. Responsible for the implementation of educational concepts and program curriculum for grades K-5. Plan and organize daily activities and classroom schedules. Monitor and report behavior and academic progress to parents in order to collaborate and respond to problem areas. Ensure the welfare, safety, and satisfaction of members and program participants as well as staff adherence to state and company regulations. - Serve 80 - 150 children impacted by programs that focus on literacy, creativity, physical activity, and healthy eating; implemented HEPA, Kids Lit, Star Reader, and Kaboom programs.- Oversee 15 Afterschool and 40 Day Camp staff which includes onboarding, on-going training, performance evaluations, and professional development guidance.- Connect and engage with community organizations such as Girls Scouts, Childcare Network, and Westside Network to create partnerships in order to offer greater beneficial and convenient resources within the surrounding community. - Project Manager for Staff Give Fundraising Campaign raising $12,600 on a goal of $9,500 and achieving 100% participation from both full and part-time staff.- Coordinate family events such as back to school bashes; spearhead the Angel Tree/Afterschool Christmas Party securing activities, gifts, food, and volunteers.- Maintain 5-star licensing status by ensuring adherence and compliance with all state laws and consistently scoring 98% or above on all department quality standards.- Facilitate staff trainings including bus driver training, playground safety, positive child guidance, sanitation, and business etiquette.- Achieved an increase of 15% growth in reading scores using the Star Reader Program. - Improved Afterschool program Net Promoter Scores between the years of 2013-2016 from 74 to 89 on a scale of 100, and increased the Day Camp score from 71 to 84.
