I was lucky to get the opportunity of a 4-month long internship at KloverCloud. My first month was learning Echo Framework and GoLang. I implemented… Show more I was lucky to get the opportunity of a 4-month long internship at KloverCloud. My first month was learning Echo Framework and GoLang. I performed CRUD operations and used JWT for user authentication and MongoDB as the database in a small project.Then in the next month, I transitioned to Frontend development and studied Angular. I was handed a year-old Admin Dashboard project to implement/improve functionality and fix bugs. First time viewing and using industry-level programming. I implemented the necessary functionality by reviewing relevant files and following code structure and design. I learnt to read and modify other developers' code while preserving their standards. I learnt about various Angular core libraries with this project. After the Software Tester checked my work, I asked the Quality Assurance team to assess it. After that, I worked on another enterprise website. It was important for me to work on KloverCloud's main project. While a stable version was released, the website was still under development. Multiple developers collaborated on this big project. My portion needed continual communication and cooperation with a full-time developer. I also had to manage frequent requirement changes. This project showed me how frantic the industry can be. I realised how important communication and code standards are while cooperating under shifting limitations. Lastly, I worked on the Dasboard project again in my final weeks at KloverCloud, but this time I had to create a feature. I knew this project, but beginning over was hard. I had to consult with the UI/UX designer on page layout and establish my own workflow idea. Since the APIs for the feature I was creating were not yet built, I had to constantly communicate with the Backend developer about how I wanted to receive and deliver Frontend payloads. The biggest lesson from this project was how I transformed my vision into code. I later had to present my work to the Project Manager, Senior Developer and others. Show less
