I designed 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing systems for multiple fixtures by utilizing Solidworks, assembling, and testing pitot probes. I delivered support in creating spreadsheets to calculate screw torques for different thread materials and screw preparation methods. I transitioned products from engineering design to fabrication via collaboration with different departments. I devised various testing plans to operate probes within client and government standards.● Optimized calibration procedure of probe and developed test plan to verify accuracy of new procedures.● Modified design of existing probe to maximize heat distribution and design housing for sensor system; preventing condensation within the part in coordination with a senior engineer.● Improved testing procedures that resulted in reducing the number of probes that failed to pass qualifications by 50%.● Eliminated issues with probe detachments through screw torque calculator.
