About Arash Moradian

I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering, specializing on thermofluids, and several years of industry experience particularly as design and development engineer in the automotive industry. Currently, I am actively seeking employment opportunities in Europe. As a mechanical design engineer at Bronze industrial group in the automotive industry, I used Catia V5, AutoCAD and Ansys Workbench to design and optimize products and their production line, and produce documentation such as BOM, FPC, FMEA, and CP with a multidisciplinary team. I also participated in product lifecycle management, from the initial RFQ and feasibility study to mass production, and cost control.Prior to that I worked as a research assistant for two years at Petroleum University of Technology, working closely with graduate students and professors, ensuring all lab equipment are well-maintained and all tests run smoothly. Preparing test plans, conducting experiments and writing technical reports.I have successfully completed performance analysis on a compressor at Abadan Oil Refining company, as my master's thesis, utilizing Aspen Hysys. During this project I worked with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and conducted in-depth research on condition-based, predictive and preventice maintenance of heavy-duty equipment. Analyzing the data, a drop in mechanical efficiency of about 25% was brought to the attention of the client with recommendations regarding future actions which led to fault diagnosis and repair. Early in my career I worked on commissioning, maintenance and repair of turbomachinery in the oil and gas industry. Working as a mechanical field engineer, I have developed strong communication and team-working skills, and became proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and ERP software. I have, in addition, gained experience reviewing technical documents, ensuring compliance with standards, turning them into actionable procedures and supervising technicians on site to make sure the tasks are executed in a timely manner, while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Skills: Computer Aided Design (CAD) with Catia and AutoCAD Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) especially with ANSYS Workbench (Structural, Fluent) Programming (Python, C++, Matlab, HPC, AI) Microsoft office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)languages: Farsi(native) English (C1) German (B1- actively learning)
