Over 25 years of experience in IT, currently an Architecture & Engineering Leader with Wells Fargo's India and Philippines Enterprise Architecture Team working with Executive leadership to deliver architecture-led BIAN based banking platform transformation. After being a coder/developer for the first 8 years, I took a serious liking to Architecture during my stint with Hewlett Packard's Service Oriented Architecture Competency Centre (HP SOA CC). Its been Architecture all the way since then - Abstract Thinking, Thought Leadership, Translate vision/strategy to Implementable Architecture - has been my career pivots. Wells Fargo - 6 years and counting :Wells catapulted me from an Architect to a Technology Leadership role, privileged to lead an architecture-led BIAN based banking platform transformation at scale. In my current role as Executive Director, Enterprise Architecture, I lead a team of architects across technical domains that delivers this transformation; while I invest my time into developing and delivering architecture strategies, managing architecture programs, while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. I also served as the Interim Head of Enterprise Architecture team @ Wells Fargo India, where I established the architecture practice in India from ground up, grew to about 30 architects. I have also built and led large engineering teams ranging from 20 to 40 engineers at Wells Fargo. These teams have supported critical Wells Fargo enterprise systems, delivered innovative products, and enabled strategic business outcomes.Hewlett Packard (HP) - 15 years.HP provided the platform for me to transform from a Developer to an Architect, I joined here after 3 years of working for start-ups. At HP, I played the role of Chief/Lead Architect developing architecture solutions for a variety of customers in Banking, Telecom, Retail, Government domains. I also led the delivery of several projects in digital enablement themes, including cloud-native application development based on Microservice architecture, application migration to IaaS, PaaS platforms, DevOps enablement, containerization, serverless architecture, and RPA development.I am very much a hands-on Architect Leader, with coding skills in several languages and frameworks, including Java/JEE, Node.js, Python, Angular, and React. I possess strong technical expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Banking Architecture including BIAN, Cloud ( Azure, AWS, GCP ) . I hold several certifications, including TOGAF 9.2, AWS and Azure Cloud certifications.
