As counsel to the Board, I analyze and summarize tax appeals by investigating and researching the factual basis of petitions contained in tax returns, ledgers, invoices, notices, and audit reports. This role also requires researching applicable laws, regulations, court decisions, audit procedures, prior board decisions, and policies to advise and make recommendations to the Board about the proper resolution of a given case. I primarily focus on issues related to sales and use and gaming taxes.

As an assistant district attorney, I prosecuted criminal cases arising within Lebanon County. My responsibilities included reviewing cases for possible prosecution, preparing and trying criminal cases, interviewing witnesses, preparing and responding to motions and briefs, conducting research, attending various court proceedings including preliminary and pretrial hearings, sentencings and post-conviction proceedings, advising police officers and citizens regarding a wide variety of information pertaining to criminal law and procedures, and other duties as assigned by the District Attorney.

As an associate attorney, I represented individuals and business clients alike with a variety of legal matters with a focus on tax, corporate, and employment law matters. In this role I helped identify risks and develop solutions to everyday legal issues while focusing on providing efficient and cost-effective service to my clients.

As an associate financial analyst, I was responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial data for prospective acquisitions as well as compiling and reviewing data from consultants and third parties. Utilizing my legal background, I ensured compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and standards and reviewed financials to ensure compliance with bond indentures and contractual covenants.
