Jennifer Archer was born and raised in North Carolina, pursuing her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied Psychology and Sociology. Jennifer's mutual interest in social justice advocacy and psychology lead her to pursue doctoral training in counseling psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. After entering the doctoral program in 2016, Jennifer's research focuses generally on the experiences of racial/ethnic minority college students, particularly Latinx students. Jennifer's research interests have also expanded to include studying impostorism. Clinically, Jennifer is primarily driven to working in university settings and strengthening her crisis management and multicultural awareness when working with college students.
