 Responsible for ensuring the overall design intent of the project established by the Project Designer is incorporated into the detaileddocumentation. Responsible for technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project. Checks completed reports, plans. Works to implement the overall strategy for producing the documents and identifies the sheets planned for each stage of the work. Thisincludes defining how data will be organized into files and which elements will be incorporated in a Building Information Model (BIM) Works with BIM Manager to define and set up project team software parameters and works with team BIM Lead to manage projectstandards. Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the entire Project Team. Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into projectrequirements and provides support as necessary. Ensures that construction detail documentation conforms to quality assurance, quality control and best practice standards. Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and other discipline group designers that affect the specific project design.

 Lead architectural studies, conceptualized innovative designs, defined design criteria, and prepared detailed reports to support project development. Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and colour boards prepared by Architectural Designers. Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Writes construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials. Interfaces with suppliers as required.  Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site.  Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.  Provides the seal and signature of a professional architect when required by statute or contract.  Provides technical guidance to Architectural Designer/Drafters working on the same project.  Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

 Create the project vision, produce conceptual sketches and design reports. Lead the design process from conceptual phase through to the construction documentation and ensuring the design idea is consistent and accurately executed. Prepare, and develop drawings, models, images, and other documents relating to the design. Meet with clients to discuss the design requirements for new constructions, alterations, or repairs. Collaborate closely, where appropriate, with members of the external design team and other associated organizations or companies. Coordinate the design with all disciplines, sub consultants, and stakeholders. Proactively checks and coordinates project documents (including but not limited to multi-disciplinary drawings, design reports, technical specifications, etc.) and ensure they meet Client requirements and Industry Standards. Takes ownership for preparation of discipline drawings for submission to the Statutory Authorities. Developed knowledge of local & international codes, regulations and submission requirements. Sets the overall strategy for producing the documents and identifies the sheets planned for each stage of the work. This includes defining how data will be organized into files and which elements will be incorporated in a Building Information Model (BIM). Mentors and advises the less experienced staff, participates in professional development reviews and “Lessons Learned” sessions.
