Parsed serial port data from different device modules to extract key information. • Created a new GUI modal that allows the user to take faster blood pressure measurements. • Improved the performance of C++ code that interacts with SQL database. Introduced multi-threading to database write operations. • Created a novel GUI feature that allows the user to update the embedded device’s software. Previously developers had to update the software using command line, my implementation made the device more user friendly. • Collaborated with related company departments such as UI/UX team to improve GUI features. • Debugging: fixed bugs in the existing C++ codebase. Fixing some of these bugs required a refactor of the existing code. • Created unit tests using the GoogleTest framework. Related key skills:• Worked in an agile scrum software development lifecycle. • Developed software in a linux environment, gained experience in linux terminal commands, git version control, GitLab, Jira and confluence.
