At Arbisoft, I founded Nurture: a home-grown research & design lab with a mission to increase the product and design maturity of the organization. At Nurture, alongside UX Research + UI Design, we provide design trainings, thought-partnership, product analytics and management.

As a UX Researcher on a SaaS ERP product, I was responsible for conducting a UX + UI Audit, and presenting the findings to Product Management.Outcome: The findings were accepted, appreciated, and made part of their product roadmap.

As the Design Communicator on a large-scale UI refresh project, I was responsible for:- making sure the design & development teams were on track- coordinating design decisions among 3 different time-zones- managing client, team, and business expectations- giving bi-weekly demos of the product to stakeholdersOutcome: The project was delivered on time.

As the Program Manager on AUS, I lead a cross-functional team of 3 people to plan and execute a scholarship program across Pakistan. AUS, the Arbisoft-Udacity Scholarship program was designed to find 100 underprivileged but promising university graduates, enroll them in tech-based Udacity Nanodegree programs, and get them employed.

As the UX Designer on ListenTool, I conducted user research, presented findings, created wireframes, communicated with the product owner and development team, and measured the impact of new feature releases. As a part of the startup, I was responsible for all information our clients and customers interact with. I created the digital content strategy, developed sales leads, and made prototypes for clients’ online stores.

I worked as the lead web designer and developer at The Interactive News, a project funded by Qatar Foundation and led by Prof. Alex Cheek of Carnegie Mellon University School of Design.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University Residence Halls

I worked within a team of 26 CDAs to foster a healthy, sustainable and safe living community for students in the Residential Complexes. Alongside being responsible for a floor of residents, I organized and executed social programs with learning outcomes for their benefit.

I assisted the Art Director and Project Executive for Juniverse, a 4D multimedia information and entertainment hub soon to be built. I had to research references for art, design, and materialsuppliers to aid the creative and administrative processes. I was also responsible for organizing and preparing all the design documents for handover to a different.

Worked closely with the lead IX Designer at Hamad International Airport on exploring emerging technologies and their potential use in airports. This was a Senior Consulting Capstone project of Carnegie Mellon University students. I was the Project Manager and was responsible for managing my team to explore all potential applications of iBeacons in.

I assisted the Teaching Professor in collecting and analyzing tweets from Students enrolled in class. Students were required to use Twitter outside of class to discuss class readings and any other material they found relevant on the subject.

Collaborated with AKKA Architects© to re-imagine the building’s space with context,refine communications and design a visual identity to aid the center’s purpose of becomingthe hub of all student activities.

Co-organized a multi-university TEDx conference in Education City, Doha, Qatar that hosted 450 attendees by coordinating a team of 12 highly-skilled individuals. Also helped identify and select 6 speakers and worked with them to develop their content.
