Evaluated and provided intervention to individuals with expressive and receptive language disorders, cognitive-communication disorders, acquired motor speech disorders, voice disorders, and dysphagia secondary to acute neurological disorders.

Planned and executed individual and group therapy in a variety of settings with AAC users ages 13-18, including autistic individuals, individuals with congenital disorders, individuals with feeding and swallowing disorders, and individuals who engage in self-injurious and aggressive behaviors. Conducted comprehensive evaluations of speaking individuals and AAC users to assist in formulating IEP goals. Managed 15-20 low, mid, and high-tech communication devices, including trialing, programming, training, and troubleshooting. Collaborated with occupational therapy to develop feeding plans and provide training to staff. Collaborated with BCBAs to assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans. Interprofessional collaboration with occupational therapists, physical therapists, special and general education teachers, paraprofessionals, teachers for the blind and visually impaired, interveners, orientation and mobility specialists, and other members of the IEP team. Provided education to families and other professionals regarding goals, treatment progress, and recommendations.

Planned and led group and individual therapy sessions for individuals with fluent and nonfluent aphasia, alexia, agraphia, dysarthria, apraxia, dysphagia, and cognitive-linguistic disorders secondary to right and left hemisphere stroke and traumatic brain injury. Conducted formal and informal assessments in the above areas. Provided intervention to individuals with the utilization of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
