After launching the Costco Auto Program in various countries, CAP created an International Corporation in the country where Costco has the biggest footprint outside of the US, counting 100 warehouses. As Costco has a desire to expand the footprint of the auto program globally, we will expand our operations into more countries besides Canada, Iceland and the UK. In 2020 we will launch an auto program in Australia. My role is to navigate the legal and operational challenges that each unique country provides such as creating agreements, working with local governments, Participating Dealers, Manufacturers and dealing with Costco member issues and disputes with Participating Dealers following the execution of a vehicle purchase or lease agreement, and making sure all marketing is compliant avoiding liability for us and Costco.

Europe

Established in 1989, the Costco Auto Program is the largest auto buying service in the US and currently helps sell approximately 500,000 vehicles to Costco members per year.
