Obtaining pre-authorizations for medical treatments from Insurance carriers within allotted time, securing prior to the services. Review and interpret patient’s documentation to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures and assign ICD codes accurately and timely to the highest level of specificity based upon physician documentation. Checking of bank statements for any payment transfers and follow-up for cheque collections from insurance companies. Retrieving payment details from insurance companies through web portal or email. Prepare payment entries for transfers and cheques in the system and apply them againstpatient’s invoices. Extracting outstanding invoices from the system and monitor rejected, pending/unpaidclaim. Review and monitor denial reasons and discrepancies of processed claims to minimizerevenue loss and maximize reimbursement. Prepare insurance reports such as ageing and process, analyze and summarize. Coordinating with other insurance coordinators to clarify their doubts and other issues. Attending meetings, training workshops and coordinating with insurance companies to anyrelated concerns. Performing other tasks as and when advised by our Team head & Finance manger.
