If I separate my talents from skills, I would say that I have a talent for building genuine trust-based relationships with most stakeholders. I also have a talent for anticipating and managing risks in projects. These two talents combined with learned skills and a growth mindset give me the confidence I need to take on any challenge in my line of work. As far as learned skills, I frequently leverage LEAN Manufacturing concepts and apply them to Project Management. I enjoy using Design Thinking techniques and applying them to workshop facilitation and other interactions with stakeholders. And, I often tell factual or meaningful stories to influence and inspire stakeholders and colleagues alike. So what exactly do I do?A) I help QC/QA lab leaders and CGT manufacturing clients to digitally plan their day-to-day operations, optimize resource utilization and adhere to key milestone dates.B) I help these same clients establish and improve collaboration with their supply chain to confidently understand the impact of future demand as to anticipate risks and shed light on potentially costly workload blind spots. How did I get here?- A degree in Manufacturing Engineering coupled with 3 years early in my career in Manufacturing Operations.- 17 years of COTS Software in roles including Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant, Project Manager and CSM.- 15 of the 17 years primarily focused in Laboratory Informatics with a focus on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). What else is important to me?I am happily married and have two amazing children - three if you count furry children. I like to travel and enjoy being active in sports and home remodeling projects. But, what I have fallen in love with in the last year is Little League coaching. Working with kids and seeing their physical and mental growth right in-front of my eyes has enriched my life in ways I can't describe in the 200 words I have left in this 'about me' section.
