As a Collections Assistant at National Trust, I work with a team of experts to document, conserve, and interpret the historic and cultural heritage of various properties and landscapes across the UK. I use my skills in preventative conservation and writing to create catalogues and narratives that showcase the archaeological and historical significance of our collections. I also support the education and outreach programs of the Trust, delivering workshops and tours to schools, communities, and visitors. I hold a Master of Philosophy in Archaeology from University of Cambridge, where I conducted original research on the material culture of Indus Valley Civilization . I also have a Bachelor of Arts in History from Jadavpur University. I am passionate about exploring and sharing the stories and meanings of tangible things, and how they connect us to the past, present, and future. I am always eager to learn new skills and techniques, and to collaborate with other professionals and enthusiasts in the field of archaeology and heritage.
