Instrumentation / Control / Electrical engineer for all NAM onshore and offshore locations.Specialist for all DCS / safety and all other supporting systems for production locations, including central control rooms in Assen / Hoogezand and underground storages in Norg and Grijpskerk.The Control & Automation Support team (CAST) is responsible for the reliable and safe operation of all DCS and safety systems in NAM (hardwired/software based systems, onshore and offshore). The team provides first line support to operations and implements small software modifications and system upgrades.I take care of:- technical support for Control Automation Support Team members in all area's and Den Helder- right prioritization of the work in a resource constrained organization- technical expertise and advice on upgrades and obsolescence issues- proposals for upgrades of systems including budget and planning- executing upgrade projects with support of Control Automation Support members and OT specialists- support for other departments and disciplines, so they can meet their targets- identifying opportunities for cost reduction- Translating operations requirements into projects and have them executed- day to day coordination for system security issues with specialized colleagues - providing technical input for contracts with DCS/safety system vendors (Yokogawa, Siemens, Schneider, HIMA, Honeywell, Actemium/Omexom and Emerson, in close cooperation with Contract and Procurement)- compliance with internal and external standards for Cyber Security- focal point for communication with "Rijksdienst Digitale Infrastructuur" and "Ministerie van Economische Zaken", as NAM is an Operator of Essential Services (OES for delivery of gas).- NIS/NIS2 (Network and Information Systems directive) Country Contact/Focal point for NAM.
