I have a masters degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from the University of Twente. Prior to this I got my bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, also at the University of Twente. During my study I was part of a committee that organised a study tour to Russia. As chairman I was responsible for communication and keeping things on track. As a student job I worked for 2 years at Instituut voor Orthopedagogie (part of D.O.C. Stap), tutoring high school students. I completed an internship at NV ROVA Holding, a waste treatment company in Zwolle, the Netherlands. For this internship, I developed a business case for a local renewable energy project.I did my master assignment at Twence Afvalverwerking bv, a waste treatment company in the Twente region, in the Netherlands. I investigated the possibilities for expansion of a biogas network in the Dutch region of Twente. From August 2013 until November 2014 I worked for Royal Imtech NV. I started at Imtech Industry International B.V, where I worked as a Sales Support Engineer. Early 2014, I started as an energy engineer at Imtech Building Services, where I focussed on energy monitoring and technical support on enegy saving projects. In November 2014, I started as a Process Engineer at Grolsch.
