Current• Assist in the implementation of Audit Department strategy by executing short and long term initiatives across methodology, people and stakeholders;• Proactively implement all changes in internal audit methodology in all assigned audits;• Assist the Head of IT Audit (HIA) with the Audit Universe by remaining aware of changes to respective auditable entities at all times, suggesting changes as and when required, and ensure audit coverage is adequate (i.e. in line with the auditable… Show more • Assist in the implementation of Audit Department strategy by executing short and long term initiatives across methodology, people and stakeholders;• Proactively implement all changes in internal audit methodology in all assigned audits;• Assist the Head of IT Audit (HIA) with the Audit Universe by remaining aware of changes to respective auditable entities at all times, suggesting changes as and when required, and ensure audit coverage is adequate (i.e. in line with the auditable entity's risk profile);• Develop and ensure execution of comprehensive Audit Programs and test sheets for the evaluation of the controls and risk management and governance activities over all assigned audit, functions and systems;• Execute individual audits in line with department approved methodology, IIA & ISACA standards & guidelines and best practices in that regards;• Perform all audit reviews and engagements mandated by the CBUAE; for the same to be alerted of changes in regulatory requirements and or regulations;• Prepare key audit planning deliverables including Audit Programs, Audit Planning Memorandum, test sheets to ensure audit coverage of evaluation of the controls, risk management and governance activities;• Assist HIA and CIAO in determining systems' testing requirements including risk assessments, business process & system risks and controls;• Prepare documentation and ensure the quality of deliverables, adequacy of testing and meeting the established KPIs for department and audit;• Provide guidance / consultation to stakeholders, as and when required;• Assist HIA in maintaining strong and effective working relationships with regulators and external auditors by providing technical input as and when required;• Provide guidance to team members whenever possible to enable them to perform and meet the established department and staff KPIs;• Conduct Special Reviews and Investigations, as needed; and other tasks and or ad-hoc reviews as requested by the HIA or CIAO Show less
