• Worked as a student interviewer in the Office of Admissions at New York Medical College for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 interview seasons• Interview prospective medical students and evaluate responses to Multiple Mini Interview-style questions based on professionalism, interpersonal and communication skills, understanding, and insight.

• Worked as a research assistant on three projects in the pediatric surgery department of Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) with continued involvements in projects until most recent publication in 2023. • Carried out research in collaboration with local groups such as the Oregon State Medical Board, the Oregon-Washington American College of Surgeons, and additionally international groups such as the West African College of Surgeons.• Wrote information sheets, PPQs and protocols to gain IRB approval for projects.• Created surveys using REDCap technology, utilizing branching logic to fine tune the line of questioning.• Collected data and participated in chart reviews using Epic Hyperspace to determine outcomes of certain medical interventions and methods.• Participated in the abstract and manuscript writing processes, attended conferences and presented my group's work.

• Shadowed Dr. Jeffrey Blue at PTR Sports, a private practice family and sports medicine center located in Santa Clara, California, twice a week.• Observed medical cases including sports injuries, routine checkups, and general procedures in the family medicine, sports medicine, and physical therapy departments• Learned about various sports injuries, such as labrum tears, pars defects, stress fractures, and general injuries to the knees, ankles, and rotator cuff, amongst others, in addition to all the potential treatments that each injury requires.• Viewed X-Ray and MRI Scans in the Radiology wing and saw how injuries appear on those scans
