This role included completion of turnarounds at IPL Moranbah site (AUD 45 million) and Mount Isa site (AUD 15 million) with finalization of contracts, contract administration, change control, procurement and expediting of the turnaround materials requirements and contract closeouts.

Joined IPL (Incitec Pivot} in March 2009 as Project Controls Manager for Moranbah Operations focusing on the production of ammonium nitrate (330,000 tpa) with a total capital investment of more than one billion Australian dollars. This project was based in Central Queensland to supply ammonium nitrate to the world’s largest coal mining provinces in Australia.In April 2012 I was promoted to the position of Global Project Controls Manager to undertake a feasibility study of major projects in Australia and the United States for Incitec projects worth more than two billion US dollars. Serving in this role I was moved to the US to work on an assignment for Dyno Nobel (a US based company which is a subsidiary of IPL Australia). We built and commissioned a world class ammonia production facility (800,000 tpa) in Waggaman, Louisiana worth over a billion US dollars.

Relocated to Australia in late 2005, and worked as Project Controls Manager for Uhde Shedden, an established engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) contractor in the process industry. During 3+ years with Uhde Shedden, delivered projects like the Diesel Hydro-Treater Unit (3,000 tpd) for Caltex in Brisbane and the Ammonium Nitrate Project (300,000 tpa) for Orica in Indonesia.
