- Battery packaging feasibility As per SOR.Responsible for Battery concept, Cell layout, detail design, Mechanical components design of battery.- Define pack and cell requirements, and find the best options for product volume, weight and run time requirements.- knowledge of cell chemistry NMC,LFP,Prismatic cell.Product development, design and sizing the Lithium-ion battery packs for electric vehicles.- Worked on improving prototype design Set standard operating procedure of prototype. (Cell sorting, cell scanning, rack filling, weldingprocess, IR different check on pack level, BMS testing, BMS & FUSE selection and electricalconnection of battery pack).- Worked on battery pack testing (thermal propagation test, IP67 test,Capacity test, overcharge test, over discharge test, over temperature, IP test,vibration test, mechanical drop test, weld strength).- Knowledge of SAP, make and create new BOM as per prototype.
