As an Assistant Manager at JD Sports Fashion PLC, I oversee the daily operations and performance of a busy and dynamic city centre store in the heart of Derby.I have been working with JD Sports Fashion PLC for over six years, starting as a Christmas Temp and quickly progressing up the ladder to Supervisor and onto the industry leading JD Group Management Academy; an invaluable course which empowered me with the skills to take on senior management roles such as that of an Assistant Manager and Store Manager.I have a strong retail background, with core competencies in customer service, sales/business intelligence, merchandising, profit protection, team leadership, and many other retail operations. These skills that I have acquired, along with the nature of the sports fashion industry, are the reason I enjoy creating a bespoke, engaging shopping experience for our customers - and also a positive, enjoyable and safe workplace for my team.
