I’m open and curious driven with an urge to explore, discover and grow. Chemistry has always fascinated me as early as from my childhood and made me to explore it in the realm of catalysis. I had pursued my PhD, worked on development of “Hydrogen bond promoted Catalysis” wherein designed catalysts for Asymmetric reaction outcomes (chirality). I’m pretty skilled at manifold techniques, can handle reactants under inert conditions, and set-up reactions under moisture free environments. Skilled in Research, Spectroscopy, Organic Chemistry. Strong research professional graduated from JNCASR. Of late, I had developed interest in to fragrance & flavors. I have chosen a career path that enabled me to use my expertise to understand the formation of flavors in food products. Developed simple techniques to capture the volatiles from various products ranging from incense sticks to foods. Successful at developing signatures of foods by re-constitution of flavors identified through variety of isolation techniques. Formulation development is another divergent area that I’m currently in to.
