Responsible for the development and management of KC’s branding and marketing technologies. This includes the development of applications, processes and platforms used by the KC Tech teams.

Define, find, and implement flexible services and solutions that meet stated needs and improve future flexibility and agility in responding to business opportunities.Manage the process and collaboration across multiple technical team in the organization including Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and Product Management in selecting new platforms and technologies as well as developing/validating solutions within existing technologies. The technology team manages all technology within our branded experiences from mobile/web experiences to back end enterprise services including support for call centers.Provide technical knowledge and support working with outside partners and vendors on architecture/product research/ proof of concept testing, and ensuring technical solutions will scale and be extensible for future initiatives.Familiar with and have extensive experience in Mobile, OTT, eCommerce, Digital Analytics/Advertising and Tag Management, ERP systems, digital video platforms, Open Source and Microsoft Technologies.Provide technical direction of the eCommerce applications and other IT applications/platforms to include web analytics, tag management, email marketing, ad serving, audience segmentation and business intelligence.Provide service and support to the business teams through execution of technical support/guidance, development of technical solutions and timely problem resolutions.Lead in planning for the future applications architecture.Researches and provides feasibility analysis for new initiatives

Drive and execute WP’s digital vision. Lead team members (design, UX, project management) in executing on that strategy, coordinating across all platforms. Motivate team in the creation, development and execution of digital marketing, solutions, tactics and programs.Manage programming and business strategy, operations and direction for Washingtonpost.com, desktop and mobile. Includes: Driving the operational vision, managing the homepage and other critical pages, gathering and prioritizing requests, managing the execution of workflows, partnering with Brand and evolving the site to conform to current brand direction.Partner closely with business managers including marketing leads to ensure coordination of efforts and the ongoing transformation of the traditional marketing model to digital. Specific focus will be placed on gross ad/win back, customer retention and converting customers from free trials into paying subscribers.

Technology Strategy Review current technology platforms, assessing new technology options against Freddie's goals and objectives, and developing and implementing a technology plan that ensure systems and technology are well-integrated throughout all Freddie's programs and operations.Collaborate with professional staff and senior management to define requirements for new technology implementations.Participate in the selection of a new accounting system, playing a pivotal role in devising and implementing the associated interoperability and integration strategy.Collaborate with the best thought-leaders in the field to participate in periodic, focused assessments of Freddie Mac's technology.Track emerging technology through research and participation in conferences, and assess new technologies for applicability to Freddie's mission. Benchmark, analyze, and present recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
