• Coordinating vessel traffic: Managing the flow of vessels in and out of the port, and ensuring that vessels are safely and efficiently berthed.
• Managing port facilities and infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance and repair of port facilities and infrastructure, such as docks, cranes, and other equipment.

• Managing staff: Responsible for managing and supervising a team of port workers, including dockworkers, crane operators, and other staff.
• Communicating with stakeholders: Communicate regularly with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met and to address any concerns or issues that arise.
