My curiosity drives me to learn and adapt when finding solutions. I push actions in people and organization challenges by first asking thoughtful questions. I find meaning in the responses and offer solutions by connecting their needs to them. My powerhouse energy lends me to being attuned and engaged when interacting with people. I leverage this energy to collaborate with different departments easily. This has aided me in writing successful proposals when working with team members who are subject matter experts. My ability to confront problems comes from actively listening to my colleagues, finding opportunities for improvement, and strategically planning forward-thinking solutions. I effectively manage relationships with customers and stakeholders by approaching conversations with openness to clarify expectations and create alignment.I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with the focus on Family Ecology and Youth and Child Studies. As a Human Ecologist, I understand the interrelationships between people and their social, economic, political, cultural, and material contexts and the impact of these environments have on the well-being of families. I seek to continue to use the key values of my field to help create environments that promote inclusivity and the empowerment of people.
