Facilitated the community health needs assessment process for three metro-area hospitals and three critical access hospitals to ensure proper engagement of local health departments and community stakeholders. Subsequently engaged the six hospital leadership teams in prioritizing identified community health needs for action. Coordinated and facilitated planning, implementation and measurement of strategies to address prioritized health needs to impact health in the community. Additionally, serve as the team lead for maternal and child health issues when research, input and planning is focused on this body of work.

Coordinate the delivery of scouting programs including camping, training and fund-raising events. Plan and manage annual budgets and orchestrate 15-30 events each year with net annual revenue of roughly $80K-$90K. Recruit and train council-level volunteers. Supervise an Activities Executive and a 3-member customer relations staff, as well as council-level volunteers and volunteer trainers. Oversee reservations for 4 camp properties and plan events for the campsites. Generate reports for field staff on training and membership. Plan and execute council meetings. Collaborate with the Director of Support Services to produce an event held every 4 years with 8,000 attendees, 60 volunteers and a budget in excess of $100K.

Events Assistant

Managed the Parks and Recreation Department’s Community Teen Center, with a weekly attendance of some 150 teenagers. Planned and directed special events, supervising 7-10-member staffs of employees and volunteers. Recruited and supervised instructors for roughly 20 recreational art, music and physical activity classes per season. Negotiated and managed contracts between instructors and the city.Major Achievements:Organized and managed professional staffing for the annual Fourth of July celebration with attendance of 4,500.Secured in-kind contributions of $10K parade balloons for the annual Founders Day Parade.
