I am an engineering student who is driven by a passion for discovery and a desire for excellence. I am seeking opportunities to further develop myself and gain expertise in all disciplines of engineering.While I am still a student, my experiences at the United States Merchant Marine Academy have taught me resilience and how to work in high-pressure environments with teams of people I have little to no familiarity with. As part of my time at the Academy, I have already spent over one-hundred days working as an engineering cadet onboard a merchant vessel learning the daily job of a licensed engineer and developing myself as a professional. During my time onboard I worked with an array of different pieces of equipment from slow-speed and medium-speed diesel engines, to various PLCs and control units.
