Shaped by decades of high-touch customer service and complemented by self-taught design techniques, my experience offers a unique combination of creative planning and strategic application.I've spent 17 years fine-tuning client relation skills as an administrative salon professional and added several technical web development and design skills. What I've learned in the fast-paced salon industry has carried over to my educational philanthropy and advancement work. Now in my fifth year as an Administrative professional in Advancement and Development, I've gained additional industry expertise in a broader capacity. Surprisingly, the clientele remained the same between both industries.Such a shift reaffirms that customer service is at the core of any service and transaction, regardless of the delivered product. Ultimately, the true measure of any company is how a guest feels throughout their journey within a brand. So long as there's balance, whether setting time for self-reflection, establishing opportunities to pivot or reset, and focused and deliberate systematic improvement. Oh, and of course, always leave space for creativity. A mental recess of sorts. ✌🏼
