For the last 10 years I have worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada as a Team Member on the Assembly Line. I’m currently part of the Toyota Green Stripe Program to become a Team Leader and the Health and Safety Representative for my department.Over the last few years, I’ve been working to pursue my goal of becoming a firefighter. In 2021, I attended Training Division in Crowley, Texas and completed my NFPA 1001 1&2, NFPA 1072 Awareness & Operations seals. I have also completed the Ontario Fire Administration (OFAI) Candidate Testing Certificate Stage 1, 2, and 3 and hold my Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Certification (Red Cross), and DZ license.Since then, I have completed a number of relevant courses to continue to educate myself and gain experience. Outside of work, I volunteer my time as a Boxing Coach with Brantford Blackeye Boxing (for 10+ years), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping adult and youth lead a healthy, active lifestyle. I also volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity Heartland.
