I have also supervised up to 20 different sub-contractors for both private residential/commercial building and government contract work including scheduling, originating work orders, contract compliance, quality control and invoicing.While acting as Field Supervisor, I was instrumental in Travis County Housing achieving almost 10 times their usual annual work load by properly administering the Federal ARRA grant for weatherization and efficiency upgrades and contributing to Travis County being one of the most efficient Sub Recipients of grant funds in the country. With the initial grant of $4.2 million being used effectively and well before the deadline we were awarded an additional $4 million grant to continue the services we were providing our over 1,400 already served clients. In addition to coordinating with sub-contractors, apartment management, city building inspectors and both state and federal compliance monitoring I also originated Work Orders, PO requests, and any required change orders due to issues caught during my quality control inspections. I always strived to go above and beyond my official scope of work and learn new skills that would allow me to assist in additional areas when needed.
