• Procurement of materials and services as part of central procurement team under Category Management, Civil.• Tracking of price and index movements of commodities like cement and steel; interaction with manufacturers• Vendor management: Identification of vendors, vendor assessment and rating; development of competent vendor base• Co-ordination with project management team, design team and vendors for finalization of technical and commercial specifications techno-commercial negotiations, releasing of works orders as per SLA. • Acting as the key interface of L&T with vendors and with various project teams for managing PR to PO cycle.• Analysis of rates for civil items and maintenance of comprehensive database with updated rates of individual components for major civil items

• Planning and Execution of customized Telecom Infrastructure installation (civil foundation, mechanical structures, pre-fabricated shelter, DG, Battery Bank, BTS).• Acquisition of Institutional properties in bulk for volumetric / speedy network expansion. (Territory Mapping in close coordination with RF team and acquisition of most suitable site.)• Preparing sales pitches and liaisoning with local governmental bodies for acquisition of government properties.
