SYDNEY AIRPORT - INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC TERMINALSSECURITY SERVICES MANAGER - CHECKED BAGGAGE SCREENINGThe Checked Baggage Screening (CBS) role for SNP Security Limited at Sydney Airport has joint reporting responsibilities and accountability to the Security Operations Manager - SNP Security Aviation Division, as well as to the Security Contract Performance Manager for Sydney Airport Corporation (SACL).I have three (3) Supervisors as direct report, three (3) Team leaders and sixty four (64) CBS Operators working on three separate teams. My Service also uses the services of ten (10) external contractors to assist with the contract requirements.Key achievements:Management of over sixty (60) security specialized direct staff as well as ten (10) security contractors at Sydney Airport.Successful redesign of all components of the CBS Business Unit by the completion of the CBS project.Successful change of the Business Unit's culture and professional behaviour.Reduction of Staff turnover from 38% to 5% in 7 months by implementing a new leadership and reporting structure as well as engaging the employees.Reduce the Security related issues by a full review of the Standard Operation Procedures, the systems and the training.Eliminate the reserve needs by implementing a blended roster for specialist and screening staffs.Increased financial profitability by managing absenteeism and unused reserve.Successful Management of a Visitors access to Sydney Airport with multiple Stakeholders and Corporate entities. This has also been delivered in a very restrictive timeframe due to Legislation changes.

Law and order, protection of french citizen overseas, emergency response, special operations.

The Gendarmerie is an arm of the French military which manages the safety and security of personnel, buildings and property in France and overseas. Its jurisdiction is worldwide as it can operate anywhere in the world wherever French citizens are involved.The Gendarme position involves the full range of police duties plus the military aspect: law enforcement, mobile patrols, riot and crowd control, counter-terrorism operations, protection of specific locations and buildings (France and overseas), document control and keeping up to date with current legislation.The Special Forces team leader is responsible for: recruitment, training and mentoring of new personnel, team management, rostering, equipment budgeting, coordination of overseas requirements (transport logistic, accommodation, weapons and legal requirements, freight forwarding), mission planning and briefing, rostering of on-call intervention personnel as required for differing levels of alert.In-service training courses:Technical skills [elementary and advanced Military Diplomas]Gendarmerie courses [legal, civil and military studies in the context of gendarme training]Special Forces Intervention unit [tactical breaching and operations]Team leader [management, supervision, rostering, office and account payment]
