Delivered a project consisting of analysis of Antarctic sea-surface temperature and sea-ice cover variability using simulations and the NCPOR sea-ice couple model. Simulations were performed on MATLAB using primarily 3 datasets. COADS-Experimental dataset, AVHRR - satellite dataset and MOMSIS-sea ice model dataset. The project also involved analyzing the annual fluctuations in sea-surface temperature and sea-ice cover in recent years for which I had to conduct simulations by removing mean data from each individual data. Initially, in the few weeks, all simulations were performed in form of rectangular plots but later on, I shifted to stereographic projection simulations (widely used in research fields such as differential geometry) as they provide a globular point of view which helps a lot in analysis.
