About Arnav Pradhan

I am a hardworking and passionate aerospace engineering student studying at Texas A&M University. Through my experiences in undergraduate research and design teams, I have gained hands-on experience and technical knowledge on research, design, manufacturing, testing, and the documenting the engineering process. Furthermore, through these experiences, I have gained teamworking and leadership experience, which are not only applicable in school, but in the industry as well.Through my undergraduate research at the National Aerothermochemistry and Hypersonics Laboratory (NAHL), I am developing a scramjet engine to serve as a testbed for future propulsion projects at the laboratory. Additionally, I have worked with and ran wind tunnels, created models for testing, and analyzed flows using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. Conducting research at the NAHL has helped to prepare me for the industry as I'm interning as a Research and Design Engineering Intern conducting CFDs on hypersonic vehicles. At the AggieSat Laboratory, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with others in a systems engineering environment to design and manufacture multi-disciplinary projects.I'm currently working on pursuing a career in research engineering with regards to aerospace dynamics and hypersonic vehicles and am planning to pursue my M.S. and PhD in aerospace engineering. My experiences and driven nature will help me succeed as an engineer.
