I am a doctoral candidate (PhD) in the Comparative and International Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. My research explores how internationally driven political and social reconstruction in the aftermath of conflict contributes to or hinders the peacebuilding and nation (re)building efforts in states emerging from conflict. In addition to my doctoral studies, I currently serve as an education planning, policy, and finance consultant at the Global Partnership for Education.I have my M.A. in International Education Policy Analysis from Stanford University. In addition, I have a B.A. in Political Science and two minors - one in Peace and Conflict Studies and the other in Russian Language, Literature, and Culture from UC Berkeley. Beyond Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian, my native language, I am proficient in Russian and Albanian.

Stanford Summer Session is committed to robust academic support. In addition to Stanford’s world-renowned faculty and libraries, the Summer Academic Resource Center (SARC) offers free academic support services to visiting and matriculated Stanford students enrolled in the University’s summer quarter. In my role, I oversaw the programming and management of SARC for Summer 2020.SARC includes two programs: Summer Tutor Program (STP) and Academic Advising. Tutors facilitate virtual drop-in and by-appointment tutoring sessions that support the majority of courses offered in the Summer Quarter. In addition to tutoring and academic advising, SARC offers academic workshops every week in a variety of areas. SARC workshops address core academic skills and academic life at Stanford. For Summer 2020, we also designed workshops that support online learning.
