My career with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) began as a Human Resources Assistant in 2003. As an intern, I worked with Human Resources Specialists to conduct research, gather data, and influence policies and procedures. From there, I became an Inventory Management Specialist and Property Manager, a program management role I’ve been doing with confidence for many years. A key achievement here has been consistently completing my annual inventory before the Agency’s deadline. In coordination with Custodial Officers, I have set the standard for other agencies despite continually increasing audits from the Office of the Inspector General. Clear milestones and intentions have enabled our success year after year.I excel in leadership, relationship building, strategic planning, and administration. Driving tasks from start to finish with a focus on efficiency and accuracy invigorates me, as does innovation. One of my favorite projects was working with a contractor to provide cafeteria services during a construction project. We decided to cook and serve food from a trailer – problem solved! I am organized and goal-oriented, with a history of meeting deadlines associated with contracts, budgets, inventory, and reports. My focus is on building trust, creating plans, and setting timelines to meet Federal standards. I stay abreast of new systems, deadlines, forms, and requirements changes by collaborating with team members, supervisors, and subordinates. In addition to my core role, I have also been an Environmental Protection Specialist, Black Employment Co-Manager, and Contracting Officer Representative for our janitorial contract. As the Cincinnati Regional Fleet Manager, I am responsible for driving compliance to operate transportation management specialized programs effectively.
