• Managing the Security Testing for a large International Bank in Mauratius, and responsible for all testing activities under the Information security umbrella while providing timely delivery to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. • Competency in planning, organizing and implementing test activities and carrying-out strategy decisions and action plans to execute and deliver business goals.• Responsible for repeat business through consistently delivering optimal performance and commendable delivery experience (in spite of changes / fluctuations in the environment) to the customer.• Liaising with several teams / vendors / internal / external teams to build a strong working relationship with the Banks Business and Technology users and bring about consistent outcomes.• Updating Senior Management and Customers Transformation Management Office on timely progress.• Infrastructure Security tests included Vulnerability Analysis and Penetration testing and Policy Compliance checks for all OSes Webservers, DHCP, DNS, and Database Servers• Security Solutions testing included Manual Assessments of Network devices including Routers, Switches and Firewalls • Configuration review and Architecture reviews for Security solutions (HP ArchSight, RSA Authentication Manager, McAfee Email Gateway, Novel NetIQ, Symantec Critical System Protection etc.)Application Security testing includes Application VAPT. Functional Security testing for Policy Compliance.• Offline Reviews included Physical Security reviews and Policy, Procedures and Standards Reviews and third party access.• Job included working with testing team and creating test cases and testing all Systems, Banking and core-banking applications in UAT, and providing reports to the Bank for necessary remediation. Post remediation, retesting was also conducted as part of this delivery solutions.

• Define the IT Security Policies/Frame Works and best practices for the Organization.• Create, maintain and update the enterprises security architecture design, security documents (Policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures.)• Working closely with business managers and information technology managers to monitor the security of websites, applications, servers, databases and workstations.• Analyze and assess vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (software, hardware, networks). Monitoring users.• Oversee and ensure Anti-Virus Compliance and Security threats / incidents are well in control.• Handling and mitigating security incidents such as spoofing, phishing virus, and malware attacks • Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits of networks & servers.• Overseeing NAS backup of all critical systems locally and to AWS S3 using cloudberry backup solutions.• Cloud data backup solutions (Druva) for management of data for critical users.• Formulate a Disaster Recovery Plan for the company and ensure its functionality periodically.• Overseeing cloud security controls for AWS EC2 instances / servers, such as Alert Logic and CrowdStrike. • Conducting a Security Awareness program for employees and phishing simulations for senior management.
