As a Shift Engineer at Atlantis Bahamas, I work with a team of engineers and technicians to maintain and repair the electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems of the resort. I apply my electrical installation skills and certifications to ensure the safety and efficiency of the operations. I also contribute to the training and mentoring of new hires and interns, sharing my knowledge and experience in the engineering field.Before joining Atlantis Bahamas in 2023, I was a self-employed carpenter and freelancer for seven years, working on various projects ranging from residential to commercial construction. I developed my carpentry, material handling, and construction safety skills, as well as my presentation and communication skills, by working with clients, contractors, and suppliers. I am also passionate about auto mechanics and welding, and I enjoy learning new techniques and tools as a hobbyist. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Engineering degree at the University of The Bahamas, intending to advance my career and expand my opportunities in the engineering industry.
